BioAbout me. I'm that guy whom people can turn to for anything, be it help with a problem, a vent, hell, even a PUNching bag. I have a few amazing friends and have the odd diplomatic ability to find common ground with almost anyone. I'm fairly quiet, restrained, soft spoken and opinionated, and people say I'm a "leader", but it's just easier to work "behind the scenes", you know?
As I said, my friends are amazing. Rebecca gives me the best advice I could ask for, and often keeps me grounded. Michaela's hilariously random, but is exasperated by my puns. Are they that bad? Emily helped me sort out my warped religious views and our conversations often turn into much soul- baring and inexplicable confessions. Dave is my Communist friend, and Sampson is an apprentice punmaker. A varied bunch, but I wouldn't trade them for the world, even if you threw in a Boba Fett figure. I miss them all terribly, and can't wait to come home and visit!
I was a sea cadet, and so I'm into sailing and survival training- useful skills right there. Made it to chief before I left to join the army. I am a huge Star Wars fan, and also like to read (anything, but give me a SW book everytime!). Meatloaf is awesome.
I've been described as brave, sorta smart(pun), cute, adorable, "oddly heroic", a good leader, funny, sad, tragic, skilled, tenacious, honest, charismatic, honorable, lucky, and true. I dunno about a few of these, I just go by what I hear. Another adjective would be single, I suppose, but I like to believe that I'll find someone someday. Someday...
I was the only white guy in full IB, a high ranking and respected sea cadet, a true and am unflinching friend who'll put his life on the line to save someone, and a self proclaimed master of puns. I'm also an Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces, who is ironically going to get a degree in chemical engineering.
That's all from me. May my words inspire thee to acts of courage, be it in danger's face or in night's blackest heart. Read on, ye, and... eat lots of cake.
